Rostam (Ross) joined the dental school in Tehran at 1993. Shortly after his Graduation in 1999, Ross started his very first practice under the supervision of his father, Dr. Ardeshir Shahriary. After 5 years he expanded the family practice and provided most of the dental care for the community.
In 2005 Ross established an in-house dental clinic focusing on medically compromised patients in Mehr General Hospital with an interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments to provide dental services to the elderly, uncooperative pediatrics, physically and mentally challenged patients, and bedridden patients with severe conditions.
In 2006, Ross Established his 3rd dental practice, focused on implant dentistry, to provide safest and easiest treatment procedures to his patients using the cutting edge technologies in dentistry.
In 2012 Ross and his wife, Katty, moved to the beautiful city of Vancouver. Their son, Ardeshir, was born on March 2012 while Ross was pursuing dentistry eligibility exam to apply for the UBC International Dental Program, which only accepts 7 international students each year. Ross was admitted to the UBC dental program in 2014 and graduated in 2016. Under this program Ross learned the latest in treatment options, techniques, materials, and high-quality dentistry. Ross believes when you combine these new skills with his 13+ years of experience you will be able to provide the best service to your patients and community.
Ross’ son, Ardeshir also loves dentistry and enjoys spending time with his Dad in the office. When Ross is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys skiing, tennis, kayaking, and exploring Canada with his family.
